Pre-school education is an important start to a child’s learning experience and we believe that for preschool children play is where their learning begins. Our carefully planned indoor and outdoor environments alongside our experienced and well qualified staff team support this. Every day we have exciting activities and experiences for children to explore while making new friends and learning through their play.

Philosophy

We encourage self awarenes, imagination, sel respect and being open. We do this so that each child may enjoy and understand their surroundings and peers, allowing them to flourish as individuals. Our aim at Little Villa Pre-school is to ensure all children in our care:

• Develop independence – using resources and making choices in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
• Learn to play within rules with other children.
• Build confidence by helping the children progress towards achieving their potential and equip them in their developmental journey.

Little Villa Pre-school provides a safe and nurturing environment which allows children to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and linguistically in a culturally diverse classroom. A rich learning environment is developed in the classroom as children and teachers engage in meaningful stories, conversations, singing, creative activities and outdoor activities that engage the whole child. Children are given opportunities to interact with one another and build knowledge through hand-on learning experiences. Daily activities include exploration in art, creative movement, math, literacy, language and dramatic play.

Learning and Development

Children start to learn about the world around them from the moment they are born. The care and education offered by our setting helps children to continue to do this by providing all of the children with interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development.
